I'm also south wales based and it's tricky, I asked a similar question previously so may be worth a search and see responses on there.
I've ended up on a couple of the Embryo syndicates, Oxfordshire based but drive ok along M4 then up. Likely those lists will reopen soon as seem to have shortened as they've issued tickets in past few months (it's a 1June start for all tickets).

South Cerney is busy in the summer. Not bad in Autumn/Winter though. Aspen is an odd lake now they've filled in the middle. Bit like fishing a circular canal. Not one for me but does seem to have a short waiting list.

There is the Birch between Cardiff and Newport. South Cerney is a good value ticket, albeit popular. Aspen Lake often seems to have availability (this is an observation not a recommendation as never fished it). You can also look at Arrow Meadows who have a range of lakes in the Midlands (some top end of M50 so not massively outside your preferred area)

Evening Everyone

Im looking for a Syndicate to join or even just a waiting list would be a start.

Currently fishing Horseshoe but looking for a change.

Wales, Gloucester, Worcester, Somerset, Devon sort of areas but open to going a little further if I need to. Based in South Wales.
