In reply to Post #1 Out of the fridge, 12 hours will be fine. In the fridge 24 hours maximum, turn it upside down after 12 hours.
It will ferment & get better.... The mix will darken and you will be able to physically smell the ingredients much stronger.
But if you leave it to long it will float. No good for what you want it for.

In reply to Post #1 Depends whats in the mix mate, but generally, yes.
I like to leave mine for a while, sometimes 24hrs but I'll pop it in the fridge for that length.
You get better consistency and a firmer roll. Some bait makers write that you even get a mild fermentation depending on the ingredient which can be a help with attraction.
Others say if you have high levels of milks, the sooner you can get it in the freezer after getting it wet then thats better.
So many variables!

How long can I leave boilies dough after mixing with eggs if I place in cling film at room temp?, I was thinking about knocking up the basemix and leaving for a few hrs maybe , or even rolling the boilies and waiting to boil. Just due to logistics and time available.. any thoughts
