You buy any regulator you need. Be it campinggaz, EN417 gas cartridges or Butane / propane bottles. A length of hose... And then the female end of the QR and a couple of hose clips.

Obviously, you can also buy these ready made... But I've always made my own.

If you've got a Go outdoors near you, they sell all the Cadac bits and the BBQs if you want to have a look.

Under the BBQ on the more recent versions is a quick release adapter (QR). The blue bit is the pigtail that would fit into 8mm rubber gas hose, which then obviously goes upstream to your regulator and gas bottle of choice.

Cadac safari chef 2 LP (Low Pressure version). I use it with the usual screw on cylinders and also with big 6KG bottles of butane or Propane.

The safari 2 comes in 2 x models. Hp or lp. You are talking about the lp. I have the HP which you screw a c500 canister into it and it's awesome. Packs away small enough and can do anything from boiling a kettle to cooking and bbq on it. I even make pizzas at the lake with the added pizza stone.

If you do get one look at the paella dish it's great for cooking in and unreal non stick coating just wipe and good to go

Ony stove I use and i own a few

I've got two of the cadac safari chef 2,the cannister screws straight into the underneath.I really like them as a nice height to cook on when sat in my chair and easy to clean. One of them has never been out the bag

I've got a cadac. Never used a cobb, and given the cadac was a good buy I perhaps never will
