I said a while back that the bubble would burst, and I think only the baitworks one will stand the test of time. Zero product pushing, Zero incentive to do anything other than have good conversation both within their own bubble as well as other peoples, and having unique guests who have an interesting perspective on angling.

In reply to Post #18 No direct money but great advertisement for Korda etc. Prize giveaway drives interaction with their social media accounts therefore driving more Korda content. They wouldn’t be doing these for free if they can’t identify a benefit to the company especially damo who seems business focused

In reply to Post #2 Some of the Carp Chronicles podcasts.... with the right guests... are absolutely gold.
Those Stephen White ones.... i could listen to him all day.

In reply to Post #18 I doubt t theses podcasts are done for the money...
I thought Jason was quite open on both platforms. So what if he's keeping a few things back. We all need our edges. No doubt these things will come to light in time...

In reply to Post #17 it was the same with CarpAngle, actually pretty frustrating to listen to him being questioned, since he clearly didn’t want to be open about anything. makes you wonder why he even signs up for these things, unless there’s substantial monetary value in it.

I've just watched the Korda one with Jason Hayward. Very interesting. The ones with Damien, Tom, and spooner can be good, I wish Damien would be more forthcoming , as he is one of the best imho.

Was on a dog walk just now and checked the new Nash podcast - insipid & tedious.

I listen to most of them, often just as background noise. I struggled a bit with the new Fox one. The content was interesting but I was struggling to hear the individual voices. Quite a few of them have deep voices and it just didn’t come across clearly, especially as they were talking over each other quite a lot. Hopefully they can get that sorted.

In reply to Post #13 It’s the only one I listen to as the others might as well just be a recording of all the others just with a different presenter

The Korda one with Clarke, Dove and Spooner is very listenable

The United anglers podcast is one of the newer ones. It's seems a few have dropped by the wayside it seems. Maybe the podcast bubble has burst. Who knows?

Just started listening to the Korda ones, Damian’s was good and half way through Lockeys. Will probably listen to more on my trips this year.

In reply to Post #9 I would like Simon to do more of the Gardner podcasts, but I guess being a teacher/musician he is short on time.
His podcasts remind me a bit of the original Korda podcast host (also a Simon?). There is more going on upstairs than just fishing.

Baitworks and Gardner are the current ones I bother to listen too.
I not a bait buff so find the carp chronicles a bit hot and miss
Thinking Tackle seems to have gone downhill and talk more amongst themselves rather than interviewing.
I use to love the Carp Cast but it’s gone rapidly downhill.

In reply to Post #7 I echo your thoughts on the Baitwork lads - they come across as sound and honest.
