Such an individual question.
My best & most cost effective way of finding out would be, trying out different rods & actions or test curves on a days proven casting tuition, to see if your your thoughts are right or wrong - without shelling out lots of money on a set of 3 rods.

Still more than up to the task and will match any other distance rod out there as long as you can compress them.

I have a set of Hi S 200 in 13ft as my LR rods

Had these a while now. Am I missing out on the newer LR rods or are these as capable as say the Harrison or Century type options?
