I think I can remember the excitement of buying a Winfield Thames float with my pocket money, and catching perch on it.

Absolutely right. It almost made being dragged around the town centre by my parents on a Saturday morning bearable. Almost.

To an 8 year old, the Winfield tackle display in Woolworths was the equivalent of an early 90s Jonson Ross or Tackle Box catalogue.

Funny you should say that. That's where Chris Manifold of Aqua products got the idea for his Pramhood shelters. From a BT phone engineers wet weather shelter. You know the red stripe ones you used to see over the manholes on the side of the road. Bit of trivia for you.

No innovation (surprise surprise)

It's a product stolen from the American hunting industry, they use them as hunting blinds over there, normally in Real Tree.

I've got pets that are more innovative than Hamidi.

It looks awful and a lot of messing about. £180?

Just get a 60inc brolly. One movement it's up then peg it out.
What more do you need for a day..

Ali really is bringing out some mickey mouse horse 💩 💩 💩 💩 💩 💩

Rates along side NGT and if you're old enough Winfield.

Nice guy but he really is scraping the bottom of the barrel.
Looks like he thinks his name will sell anything.
