Dont bother ive found them useless - also battery doesnt last long and takes ages to charge - gone back to my ever reliable thermacell on old gas bottles.

I have the Flextail Max Repeller S and struggled with it at first. I was using a thermocell on a gas canister before and was using some cheap pads from Amazon that worked OK with that and were sold under the name ODS.

Those didn't fit the Flextail and one side was so loose it kept sliding out if I moved it. I now have more cheap pads from Amazon but this time branded Ninoclar. Those fit perfectly and I have been leaving them on all night on the green light on the Flextail which is the lower of the two power modes it has.

Outside on the red mode it works well as long as its in sheltered area and not too windy.

I don't get the battery life out of it that they quote and just charge it every day.

I’ve just purchased one (evo repeller) directly £57, 2 packs of large mats & free P&P.
It took a week to arrive, and I tried it last night whilst under an open umbrella. I waited until I heard the first mozzie, 10 minutes later I never heard another mozzie. Had it running for 7 hours at which point it was daylight, and the battery indicator was on the last light so will need charging every use.

I’m off to France in September so will see how it works out over the course of the week

To be honest on my light version I run it on the low setting(green light)in my bivvy/ under my brolly and usually leave it on from dusk to dawn so about 7 hours, not really had any issues with bugs, 1 pad each side.
👍👍

Do they patches only work for 4 hours? Or can you get longer lasting ones

I’ve got the light one they do(smallest option) no battery runs off a power pack, got 2 from Ali Express for less than the cost of one in the UK, also got the tabs from same place.
Bern using them for a couple of years and yes they work.

Bumping an old thread..

Started to get bitten in the garden and flextail keep popping up on my FB feeds, they look ideal for the garden and obviously fishing.

Any one being using one of these, I see there's 3 in their range.
Or have come across an alternative brand??

I don't use Google as I don't like sponsored news.. 🙂
But duck duck go says do not use in a confined space, if it has insecticide in it I personally don't want to be breathing that in.

They call it a repellant but it is poison as it kills insects.
I Would be careful inhaling it..
Do they say it is safe?
