Chickpeas.

I throw them into a bucket with maize, throw in some spices and cook the whole lot up in one go

Id have thought a local horse/animal feed suppliers near you might be worth a visit, for tigers, peanuts, maples etc.

Tic beans, lupins also.

Have you thought about balling it up with a dense groundbait to help it get down even quicker?

You could perfect the art of the bait dropper, may take a while to get bait out and only at short range but would be effective

I fish a deep lake (25-35ft average) and am looking for a large particle mix that will sink quickly and hopefully not disperse to much.
I was thinking of using maple peas, maize, red maize, haricot beans. Does anyone know of a large seed mix by any companyís, or where I can buy a selection to mix myself? Any other large seeds/beans Iíve not thought of?
Cheers
