Not having the alarms with nightlights I wasn't going to enter the debate, at first I thought nightlights were a gimmick but the reassurance of your alarms being on in the middle of the night is an idea I like.

I think the Nightlights on these alarms are the perfect brightness and like the fact you can either have them On or Off.
I do use them on my alarms purely so that if I wake in the night I can glance at the alarms and see instantly that Yes I did switch them on after sorting the rods, especially useful at this time of the year where getting out of the bag in the middle of the night is not my idea of fun.

Agreed though, the Orange & Red are exactly the same which I find a mild annoyance.

Beyoncé…..sadly NOT everyone is holding your perfect memory of switch on alarms.

Sorry but we’ll agree to disagree.

Spokes has summed it up perfectly below ⬇️

This is why in my original post I wrote most don't use the nightlights. Its just for show or as previous comment to remind you you have turned alarm on. I'm sure it's happened to every one of us where we have turned alarm off to sort line lay or whatever reason and we have forgot to turn back on. Or if your like me and haven't received a bite in 2 days you question if your alarms still work 🤣🤣. But for me, I'll openly admit it's for show/looking pretty, I suppose this is like anything. Most of us spend loads on things we don't really need. Like bank sticks, fancy pods. They don't increase our chances of catching anymore than a kingfisher set up from argos. So whether its pointless or not we all have our own choices and opinions. Anyhow thanks everybody for the help.

The main LEDs are on for seconds a session rather than hours.

When I switch my alarms on I know that they are switched on.

If people want to look at twinkly little lights at night that’s their call, to be given a choice in the matter isn’t a downgrade.

Just my thoughts

Minimal battery usage for a 1/4 light nitelite.

If we were that worried we’d switch the main LEDs off too 😂😂

Yes it’s not necessary but it also serves a purpose as you know you have switched your alarms on and they are still working ok.

Just my thoughts

Battery? For some it’s pointless wasting battery lighting something for no reason but aesthetic.

Yeah thanks guys. I seen a mate on the bank yesterday and he Said the exact same. And I said the exact same to him about why downgrade the nightlight from the ntxr. I had ntxr before and thought they were great. But thanks everyone

I use mine, just because they look pretty, like a couple of twinkling stars. God I'm sad.

Some colours are brighter than others on the night light setting.....and if set to yellow the night light is red....

Mine are always on but they are not really essential...

NTXr auto night lights are nice but for some reason they ditched this in favour of manual effort.

Most carpers won’t bother using
