Lovely, wild lake, nice and peaceful with large hard swims giving you access to lots of water (which does drop like most lakes in the height of summer). Some really nice scaley carp to aim at and if its your thing some big grass carp (70lbs plus)!
Angling Lines give a good description of the lake on their website and the facilities were upgraded last year improving the charging and showering aspects.
Many anglers fish long using bait boats, however I have found, keep it easy fish shorter use your bait as a feature and the carp will find it very quick (therefore saving time and effort repositioning rods>
A good big bait boat is recommended and I have had success filling bait boat up and after a fish, just recast to the baited area. After several fish top up with bait boat!
Shopping is about 15 mins away in either direction Brienne le Chateaux or Montier En Der

Hi all,

Me and a friend are looking to book onto a lake later this year and have come across Brocard large lake.

Its through angling lines, just wondering if anyone has any experience with the place and what there thoughts are.

Also looking at blue lake or souvenirs through angling lines 👍👍
