Many years back I was introduced to MB and used a product thatís sadly no longer available, from memory it was called Snail shell and Masala, wherever I used it I got fish.
Awesome.

Yes, Alan Taylors original company - Whacker Catcher Limited, most noted for the withy pool mix with peach n pepper fame, was dissolved in Feb 2022 after his passing. RIP Mate.

However I should have worded it a bit better, from fishing in the area before circa, 2020/21 I remember Luke took over/relaunched Whacker Catcher products, that is what I meant to suggest to look up.

But you do seem to be correct as a quick google revealed not much on the usual website. www.whackercatcherproducts.co.uk or other platforms, A fickle thing the bait game, shame.

Well if youíd like some samples then call in and see if itís what you are after. We are only a small company so for the last few years we have stopped rolling in Oct/Nov and pick up again in March. If it turns out to be something youíre interested in at least you can pick it up and not pay any postage costs.

I would second Geff at ABS, he can put together a custom bait by tweaking one of his already well proven base mixes so that it is unique to you. What that man doesn't know about bait isn't worth knowing.
You wont go wrong with him for quality and price.

Why don't you get something made up bespoke? Someone like Active bait solutions will talk you through what you need.

Falling that can recommend Poacher baits. Been rolling bait since the mid 90s.

Three Rivers Rolling look to have some good stuff with a track record. I know they've been around a while but there's probably something there they haven't seen, unless you're fishing next door.

Anyone willing to recommend a small bait company - thatís decent obviously! I fish a heavily pressured water and fancy trying another bait thatís probably only being put in by me. Iíve never made my own and definitely donít have the time, so something different would be good
