You've not really given any travel time, size of fish, exclusive / day ticket. You'll get different answers from the majority of people on here. It may help if you narrow some specifics down

Sorry yeah day ticket.. And the rest not that bothered, not massively experienced so don't.mind , not a lake that is too weedy, with dustbin sized clear spots, have fished orchid and horcott and have fished swims in those that were really hard to find clear spots, also somewhere with a shower block ideally

Have a look at cromwell lake near the A1 at newark, really well kept lake with good bailiffs, good shower and toilet etc, can move swims during your week if you want.
Not an easy water, can be moody but if you get on them can be great, plenty of 30's and a handful of 40's to go at. Online booking also

Maybe Farlows if it isnt too far?

I wouldn't want to stay that close to the M25 for a week!

Been looking at cromwell as been told its a mint place also trent view, how weedy is cromwell?
