Yea seen these on Ali express, obviously cheaper copies, but they’re literally a couple of quid, they do Mikita and dewalt ones…. Definitely a cheaper alternative and hardly take up any space

Iv had a few over the years and found they took ages to charge, didn’t charge much and d it didnt last long till they broke. Best thing I did was get a usb adaptor for my makita batteries. A 5a battery lasts a whole weekend easily (obviously if you already have a power tool)

Power packs / batteries when not in use at home they are stored in a fireproof box not in the house as when these things go bang they can create a serious fire which can be quite hard to extinguish.

I don’t keep them in my bivvy

Ok to add to the conversation, what about products/carryalls or whatever to store all our power banks/packs and iPads , chargers etc in …

I was looking at the storm shield pro tech by avid , looks smart and has two external usb ports , which I think is a nice touch ..pricey mind you …

Any thoughts ????

Just beware of brands like EC that you can get on Amazon. I bought a 20k pb that's supposed to have 2amp output and it's incapable of powering an avid heated blanket that needs a 2a supply. My other pb's power the blanket np at all.

Hi,

I have the same power bank as this. Outlook Pro look like they have rebadged it and now at a much lower price than I originally paid from the amazon.

72000 mAh
wireless charging, variable output voltages, usb C, usb A
its great, can get at least 2 full laptop charges out of this and charging phone and wifi hotspot as well.

72000mAh power pack

Cheers
Neil.

Went for this I’m the end as the other option had ended and was now £140 with the discounts, but found this on Amazon , seems “allpowers” are doing some mad reductions

ALLPOWERS Portable Power Station 200W/154Wh/41600mAh Solar Generator AC Power Bank with Wireless Charger, 1x AC Outlets, 3x USB Ports for Outdoors Camping Travel Fishing Emergency Power Supply Backup

It was ment to be £130, had a £60 off voucher and 8% off at checkout so was around 50 quid, all In with free delivery, seems to have ok reviews too….

Thanks again for all your help fellas, really appreciated

Using a 100W device it will last over 2 hours.

Granted it's not a very big capacity station but it works for what some would want it for, laptop charging, baitboat battery recharge, camping fridge or powered cool box etc.

It's not for everyone if all you're doing is recharging a phone or usb devices, but it can work for others. Like i said elsewhere on here, my similar small power bank ran my laptop all day every day for weeks in France this year. Yes I did also solar recharge it, but it enabled me to "work" from the bank. (one of my work laptops is mains power only, not usb and very high wattage.)
