In reply to Post #8 Type 192.168.4.101 into your task bar and it should take you to the fish spy software and hopefully connect up (i used an iphone, not sure if that matters).
The app did not work for me but this did.

In reply to Post #5 I have found the post and asked Robert if he can send me the file.
If he can/does then I will host the file on CarpForum so you can simply click the link and download it

In reply to Post #4 Ta - all sorted now - not sure why but I think it wasn't charged - I'd plugged it in last night and I was sure the LED was on, but off this morning.
Just plugged it in again and it mounted on my Mac and up popped the SSID - previously wasn't doing anything.
I read earlier about updating the firmware on them, but now can't find the post - does anyone have instructions and the latest firmware ?

In reply to Post #3 You need the app to connect it I would have thought either on a phone or tablet.
I usually use it like this…. Fishspy-789 on my tablet

In reply to Post #2 Thanks - I tried that but its not being detected - I'm using a Mac but shouldn't be any different.
Ive written a simple script to try and connect to the wifi network, but the SSID is hidden. Can someone please confirm the format - Im using:
/Users/jamie/.ssh> for i in {001..999}; do networksetup -setairportnetwork en1 "Fishspy-$i"; done
Could not find network Fishspy-001.
Could not find network Fishspy-002.
Could not find network Fishspy-003.
Could not find network Fishspy-004.
Could not find network Fishspy-005.
Could not find network Fishspy-006.
Could not find network Fishspy-007.
....
So far Ive gone all the way through from 000 to 999 and still not been able to connect, can someone confirm if I have the format of the SSID correct ? ...I.e. "Fishspy-nnn" where nnn is the unique 3 digit number ? ....do I have the capitalisation correct etc ?

I wanted to use my fishspy on a new water - very weedy but gin-clear so ideal for a camera.
Problem is Ive long since lost the packaging (bought it in Jul 2020) so no longer have the "Fishspy-nnn" code.
Does anyone have any idea how to get the code - the website seems to have been taken down so guessing the company is no longer around.
Failing that, I could just try going through all the numbers between 000-999, but really don't want to do that - it'll take ages. Also, I can't recall if there is a password or not ? ....I dont recall there being one.
