I've had the same with salted sweetcorn. The PVA goes all rubbery and is a bugger to work with. Takes ages to melt in cold water aswell.

Absolutely-
I was fishing ALONE on a lake a few winters ago and MY MATE had a couple of pva bags of tigers done in icing sugar from the week before, he cast them out and three hours later brought them back in with not the slightest hint of melting. I now ensure- I mean HE now checks even freshly tied bags to double check.

Has anyone pre tied bags with PVA friendly hemp in, I've done it with pellet and crumb but never hemp and wondered if they keep ok once tied.
