I fished Tar Farm 4 last year, it is 7 pegs with one bank fishing. So you actually get a decent bit of water. I fished next to a mate if you get 3 of you, you can pretty much get a side of the lake to yourself. I had 4 and lost a few over 48hrs, my mate had 6, All between 12 and just shy of 20.

All the lakes got a similar stocking and I think one of the lakes on the complex did a 45lb mirror which was stocked at 20 about 2 or 3 years ago. So they have potential. All the fish were caught opposite margin in 10ft of water. The lake drops to about 40ft in places. I would go again, but on that lake as you have a bit of control. It is also the only lake that allows baitboats

Yeah typically I found a video of someone fishing 14 after I'd booked it. Did look tight. I'm not 100% I'll be going if I'm honest. The missus is due a new knee in the near future and I may have to cancel.

I fished peg 10 on Hunts in May 2021. Fished for Tench though, but did have a Carp. Nice lake, and would defiantly go again but would like to try another lake. I would like to try Oxlease, but want the security of a booked swim. I'd looked at Manor Fm, pegs 14-15-16 as the legs aren't what they used to be and can't manage a big walk.

Any of the bookable lakes, though I would only go on Hunts summer time. I found it moody in winter..

I'm off to fish Linear next year. I'll only go once. I want to fish one of the bookable lakes so I know I've got a swim when I get there. Which lake would be the best option for a fairy novice Carp angler ??

Thanks.
