I have the Nash HD, although not perfect from a padding POV it does do, the job and I have 30 odd sections in there…

I'll take a look at the bespoke options mentioned on this thread. Actually surprising the lack of options on the market, I know Nash have the pole market sewn up but you'd have thought other manufacturers would make luggage.

Until you wrote that I hadn't thought about what was staring me in the face, so much for lateral thinking...doh. it was the bit about having the pole market that had me thinking...hang on a minute.

What about a pole holdall? They open up fully and depending what you choose are more than capable of taking a bushwhacker.

Edit, now I'm on a roll, check awning pole bags on eBay

thanks, will take a look. Agree on being able to open the bag fully, that's one of the reasons for wanting to upgrade. Less stressed about padding, cracking a pole is unlikely and not expensive to replace a section. But trying to slide poles in and out of one end is a pain.

I could not agree more about the noise.

Doesn't the pro xl kit come with a big enough bag for 30m and 45m sections?

I have the a la carp bag... Zero padding but well designed and made. The fact you can fan it open make taking sections out and putting them back in much easier and cuts down on the noise which is one of my biggest annoyances using the bushwhacker...

Midwater Luggage will make anything you want to a very good standard if you provide them with dimensions etc.

Recently bought the HD bag in the Black Friday sales & as most things Nash, I’m very underwhelmed. No padding or features to write home about. Yes, it’s designed for the bushwhacker but I would personally buy a A La Carp one off eBay if I had the choice again.

Currently using the free bag that came with the pole and looking to upgrade, is there any alternative to the Nash HD bag that should be considered?
