In reply to Post #8 There's a history to the term. Started off as an alternative to 'race music' and then developed to include and incorporate more styles from jazz to funk to pop etc.
Milli Vanilli were a couple of badly dressed karaoke mime artists

Surely R&B mean rhythm and blues? If so Milli Vanilla and others of that genre aren't.
So why are they labelled R&B
