You could try Trentside Angling Centre in Abbey Hulton,they may have some as stocked impulse.Impulse has gone,there was rumours locally they might have someone taking it over but I think the guy had second thoughts

I think that's a fair assumption Tom. No posts on their Facebook page since Oct '23 and their website no longer exists. There's a mobile number on their Facebook page if you fancy trying that and giving yourself a bit of heartache.......

went online to order some mk2 pop ups - were really good for me, cant find them online. Can I assume they closed down?

To conclude this thread, it's now all sorted. Timeline detailed below:

Boilies ordered on 2nd October with 5 day leadtime.

Three phone calls during week commencing 9th October with no response.

On 12th October, I sent an email to chase the collection.

On 13th October, posted on here about it.

Received email from Impulse on 13th October saying will have a look at it tomorrow.

Eventually spoke to him on 16th October, said he was moving premises and couldn't provide boilies and said he would provide a full refund.

Chased for refund via email on 18th October - no response.

Got refund through PAYPAL on 19th October.

Not at all impressed with this outfit. Fortunately, Dean Towey at SCIENTIFIC BAITS sorted me some bait out, thanks very much. . My advice is to steer clear of Impulse Baits.

I'd hang back on that, the guy who runs it told me yesterday that he is moving premises and hence cannot roll boilies at the moment. Hookbaits OK as he has plenty of these, but not bottom baits.

I know Neil who used to have alot do with the company moved away but I'm pretty sure Impulse are still trading

A few people who used to use the choc banana and couldn’t get it or contact impulse baits
They were told that they had stopped trading. Is that not the case?? So I can let the boys know who used the bait before.

I heard that impulse baits had stopped trading??
