Could we have the link to the donation site permanently stuck at the top of the thread so it's easy to find?
At the moment you have to scroll down and search for it

In reply to Post #38 So sorry to hear this mate
but glad your treatment is going well average person wont know just what Macmillan nurse`s can do for you when you dont know how to cope
I suffered terrible lower back pain for a year as I had been going to Gym twice a week and was super strong and fit thought it was a torn muscle and Covid stopped me going to hospital not knowing it was a tumour growing in my spine
so can you imagen how devastated I was when they said its not curable and you will be disabled and in permanent pain for the remainder of your life and was eventually sent home as its safer infection wise to be home than in hospital a week later I was in a terrible state living on my own I realised I needed help so Phoned Macmillan nurse`s that was the best thing I have ever done both emotionally and financially they were / are a shining light when your in your darkest hours
thats why I am trying to raise as much as possible for them

All the best Gerry. I was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer 12 months ago at 57, my life fell apart.
After a lot of treatment, thankfully they are saying my prognosis is now very good. My Macmillan nurse was with me from day 1 (diagnosis), she is my angel , she helped me throughout all the difficult treatment and I know she will be there to support me over the next 5 years during my checkups. In my hour of need when things got very dark and difficult, she was there for me and I will be eternally grateful. They are very special people.
A fantastic cause.
