Do not bother all of you, utter *****.Coils, dont sink and if a fly farts nearby it snaps. It has got no abrasion resistance at all,the best mono ive used since esp syncro xt changed is the korda kaizen.I was not sure on this first trip but now it is the best mono ive ever used, casts well, sinks quickly, not one coil in in it even after playing fish on the drag and it is really strong.

In reply to Post #2 Same here re not finding anything I'm really happy with since the shimmy tech - have tried cm90 and the synchro XT but neither quite so it for me.
The description of the Mile High does sound very much like the original technique black blurb and construction...
I'm considering trying the new 0.305/0.355mm technique or technique tribal (I'm guessing these are 12/15lb respectively).

In reply to Post #1 I was just about to ask the same question, never quite been happy with a mono since tech black was discontinued. Ive used touchdown for a while and its decent but no og tech black. The mile high is getting my hopes up

Has anyone used the new Solar mono - the blurb looks good (as they always do); low stretch, low diameter for breaking strain and good sinking...
Tempted to give it a try but any feedback would be grand.
