In the area around Soissons (about 2.5 hours from Calais), lots of venues to choose from
Jurassica 2, Black swan lake, Lac Lunar, Aquarium just to name a few, just do your research and pick a good time of year and you should have a good trip no matter what your age

If you’re prepared to travel upto 3.5 hours it will get you to Vitry la Francois.
There are loads of lakes around there to look at . It’s a really easy drive once in Calais

Abbey lakes are around 2 hrs from Calais and are a nice comfortable drive .
Top facilities , supermarket , bakery and restaurants in easy reach.
Various lakes to fish which all hold a good stamp of fish .

The food package is good if you don’t fancy cooking or there’s an excellent restaurant onsite which is pricey but reflects the quality of the food.

Hi I'm looking for some places in France to fish for next year that aren't too far from Calais that have some good size Carp in, My buddy doesnt drive so i will be chauffauring and the pair of us aren't spring chickens any more and don't want to bugger ourselves up having to travel too far.

Any recommendations please? Don't need 70 or 80lb'ers but a 60 would be nice.
