Iv purchased a few over the years, but I find they don’t last long before they break. Best thing Iv done is get a usb converter for my makita (work) batteries. 2 x 5amp batteries should easily last a week. If you have tools this imo is the best way to go

Ive had my ridgemonkey a good few years and its been great but Id look at the Anker 555 portable power station on offer today at Amazon with £290 off if you want something heavy duty

Week long sessions I use a big leisure battery then attach a 12 v motorbike USB charger to it, you can batter that on a week long session recharging everything and you're still good on the 7th day
|

I purchased a rebel cell 50ah battery a few years ago intending to use it for my outboard motor but purchased a small clear plastic container with lid and added usb and cigarette outlets to charge things.
Also the extra space in the box I keep all my charging leads,torches etc etc

I went with it as lifepo4 and far quicker recharge, can do 0 to 80% in 30 mins. I had an air pump running off of it yesterday, 3 pin plug instead of mains (test for a later trip) and no issue.
If you'll use the extras it gives you over a standard battery or powerbank then they're great units.

love the look of the bluettie ! that looks perfect for what i need , and also has the better life04 battery inside i read up on the jackery and that has old the lion battery and for thr sake of 50 more that the fox halo think its a no brainer esp charging boat batteries and vape battery charger etc

Save a load of money and buy a lithium leisure battery and an inverter. Will work out a considerable saving.

I wouldn’t focus on Fishing firms for power packs, for Jakery and alike this is their core business so very likely to be superior products

I ended up buying a Powapacs atom (will do 2 charges of my MacBook) plus a solar panel to refill the atom.
So far so good.
If I was buying again, I'd look at the Jackery/Bluetti versions without the carp tax (though TBF the PP Atom has been top drawer since I bought it)

There will be jackery options with huge capacity but they also have inbuilt inverters and chargers that may be overkill for what you want.
I have a bluetti EB3A as needed a 3 pin plug socket for my laptop, it's a great bit of kit and adds a lot of versatility if needed. I can solar charge it in a couple hours of good light, lots of sockets, can charge baitboat batteries off of it etc. But all this is a waste if just wanting to usb charge a phone and bits.

I have the largest fox battery charger, lasted a week in France last September, charging phone, mozzie zapper, bivvy light etc. I still had power left on my return trip home, never charged a lap top or similar but it lasted my needs

im off to france soon for a week and im looking for a new power pack to take with me , iv been looking at the new fox halo 96k power pack but also seen the jackery power packs for the same money and they have solar panel sockets and plug sockets etc , does anyone own or used both of these packs can give any advice which lasts the longest and best one to buy ,
