We were there in april and have booked the lake again for the back end of june next yr. its a lovely lake with great faciitys Nick the owner is a great bloke. There are wooden sheds on each swim with electricity and a fridge which was great.
The carp arnt huge but they scrap like hell.

It is very silty and only about 3 foot deep all round with not many features and no snags other than a sunken tree at the dam wall end. I never found the silt a problem. The dam wall side is deeper. We all bought his bait package and his food package is briliant. Had plenty of fish to 36lb and they are by far the hardest fighting carp ive ever caught. Fish right up tight to one of the weed beds and use a pva bag with small 2/3mm pellets in and a fluoro white or pink wafter or pop up and you will do well. Cats run to 120lb if you fancy a go for them at the dam wall end.

Hes dug a stock pond recently so started taking the smaller fish out as theres quite a lot of doubles in there to get through. He was looking at stocking some bigger carp to 50lb from euro aqua but not sure when thats happening, hopefully before we go back next year 🤞

There is a facebook group for rushes so join that.
