Proven track record winning international tournaments?

Nah, the FA wouldn't consider that.

I'd support her. She knows how to get a team playing fluid attacking and WINNING football. I doubt I'm in a majority there though 😁

There are good managers out there. But I think there are too many stupid self imposed restrictions. Somebody English. Somebody who knows the FA set up. Somebody who will say 'yes' without questioning... etc.

Well at least there'd be continuity...

Boring, defensive, low block, no possession, out dated football

Yep - mourinho is your man!

I'd be ok with pochettino or Tuchel who have both been mentioned

However I'm not putting it past the fa to interview bloody lampard for the job

I'm 100% positive that his heart was in it, and he's 100% England through and through, a thoroughly nice bloke but as you say no Plan B.

Hooray. Thank f*** for that.
Now can we have an investigation as to why the FA thought it a good idea to throw £40m away on appointing Mr no plan B? Bloke was a fraud.
Think Potter will be more of the same. Howe could be a good choice, at least he knows how to attack.
Potch has thrown his hat in the ring. Interesting. 🤔

Southgate has resigned.
Talk of Graham Potter edging it over Eddie Howell, can't say I'm enthralled with either.

Come back Gareth, all is forgiven

The manager sets the team up and tactics he wants to play. All the players have to do is give it 100%. Tactically we were on dimensional and too defensive and wanting to hold possession all of the time, personally I couldn’t give a **** if we held the ball no more the 20% of the time as long as when we did get it we had a threat on goal. We did not have one, all the goals came from the players been creative, not from the team set up being tactically sound. All the possession bar the Spain game, up to 30 yds and then back down the field to the defence, boring as ****

Like Kane, dropping deep all of the time cause he wants the ball, when he gets it 50 yds out, zero threat. When we break he is still in our own half ffs.

Please get somebody who wants to play football, not just try to hold the ball and defend
