I had this but just found it way to big, ended up getting rid of it and got a different chair in the end bud

Was very comfy tho so no complaints there

I've got one from TFT which is basically the same!
It's a huge chair but I absolutely love it.

Can anyone tell me if the height of the back is the same on both the Solar Low and High chairs?

Thanks.

Low is actually not that low - depends on how high you extend the legs and how long your upper body is or isn't - I'm 6'1" and I can comfortably slouch with the pillow behind my neck in comfort; if I extend all the legs (on flat ground) it becomes a reasonably high chair IMO

Has anyone seen the Fox highback super recliner?

https://www.tackleuk.co.uk/Shop/Fishing-Recliners/Fox-Super-Deluxe-Recliner-Highback-Chair.htm

I like the solar but it looks low and I prefer a bit of height. I'm also mulling over this at the minute to replace a 5 year old chub chair.

Edit. I've seen the Solar High chair and that looks better.

I got a Nash Daddy long legs due to arthritis in the knees but due to a bit of medication and exercise can now get lower.

DD long legs is a great bit of kit. Ok one leg shoots out occasionally and it’s reasonably heavy but is comfortable and I can stores buzz bars, bivvy table and other bits in when closed down so does the job also of carrying tackle.

However, looking at slimming down I recently sat in a Advanta Discovery CCX camo relaxa.

Whilst it doesn’t have the hand wheels on the side to lock like the long legs and the Advanta high back it’s a really comfortable chair.

Maybe something for consideration?

Would recommend the Daddy long legs to anyone though.

I have the ‘low’ but have never found it low at all (I’m 5’10).

The Solar high is great but if you have short legs try before you buy.

If you want to save a few bucks, have a look at the Sonik SK-Tek Recliners.

I've got one, they are only suitable for flat and level banks. The extending legs slide back in under any weight on them. If the bank slopes towards the water forget it, your front legs are useless.

I have owned BOTH and the Solar is streets ahead the Big daddy was when it was first released and after 2 x 14 day French trips
I came to the conclusion it was a waste of money and got rid reasons at around 16 to 17 stone
it was sort of alright for around 2 weeks never that comfy
but on the second trip the seat went flat and it was like sitting on a friggin board by the end of the 4th week !!! the Solar recliner High is in another class all together IMHO as I am to old to struggle to get out of low chairs and like to doze off in complete reclined comfort
