Well its less like tow rope for starters, has a good colour to it and it casts very well, I’ve had it up to 100 yards so far, seem to casts just as well when I don’t bother wetting it, usually wet it for first cast of the trip but after that don’t bother.

Avid stuff doesn’t fade fast. Think I’ve had mine on around 3yrs now and it’s faded but only slightly.

Does the Avid / Ridgemonkey stuff fade? The SBX doesn’t seem to.

Iv been using the .35 ridgemonkey braid . It’s very strong and sinks really well iv found . Again not great for casting but good for short medium range in weedy conditions

I love mine but wonder if the 25lb would cast a lot further, the diameter isn't very different but if I could cast maybe 27 wraps I would change over..
