I have gone back to my Super Compact. Set up time us negligible between the two, probably less than a minute!

Dont get ne wrong the RP1 is a thing of beauty and although there was no problem fitting my rods on with Shimano Power Aeros the Splay on the RP1 was too wide for me.

It's for sale in the Classifieds

They will fit but you need to position each handle so it sits under the reel next to it as the pod is not wide enough for the reels to sit side by side. Thats with castizms as well so not a big pit.

I currently have a JAG super compact pod but I am really interested in the RP1 mainly because of the quick set up time. There seems to be a lot of comments online about the rods being too close together. How have people found this? Is it too tight for 3 big pit reels? I have the Ci4 14000 XTCs so I would need to be able to use these on it without having any issues.

Mine came with 6 inch fronts and 8 inch rears, if anything there to short so always extend them. They dont do a 5 inch 316 bankstick. They do one in the black version but i mentioned the 316 pod.

They do 5in banksticks have a look on their website. The pod comes with 7in fronts so it's a 2inch difference. I know that's not exactly a massive difference, I just think it would sit better with the 5in fronts

Jag dont do 5 inch 316 fronts. Im not sure what difference 1 inch makes but if its an issue just push the 6 inch ones it comes with into the ground an inch.

The stainless one comes with the shortest uprights they do. Not sure why you would want any shorter. The black version is slightly taller than the stainless one.

Looks way to big the mk2 rp1. I dont believe it is called an rp2 as rp1 stands for rapid one. Rp2 dosent have the same ring to it.
