Hi all looking for 3 reels for 3.25 torrix with 40mm butt ring... I have narrowed it down to these 2 based on a £500/600 ish price budget .. new or 2nd hand

Who has owned either and genuine thoughts on the right route to go I have always owned shimanos and for some reason fancy a change ... would both be a good choice or any other recommendation based on what you would use on these rods..
Happy Boxing day
Steve

I had Ci4 for nearly a year.... Overpriced and no better than the 'cheap' versions imo..
I sold em off.

Get the Ultegras. Unless you want an inferior reel but want to look good then fair play get the tournaments. Both will do everything you need. Ones heavy, rough and rugged. Ones lighter smoother and cheaper. both have decent enough drags. Both are rugged enough for anything they encounter fishing for carp

I've had both, I sold the tournaments. The only reason I like them is they look good.
Are you sure?
