Lots of people have asked for the functionality, VLT being the most recent a month or so ago...so I added it to my To Do list and got around to putting an hour aside last night to get it done.
It's not the prettiest layout etc, but it seems to work (from my limited testing so far!)
I'll need to add some other functionality around it at some point...maybe so we can report on which user gets the most likes per week / month / year, which topics, which sections of the site etc
First I'll need to see how it get's used...
If people start liking posts where there are arguments ... or the usual cock swinging that some users can't help but get involved in, then I will either remove the functionality or the toxic user
Notice I never put a dislike option. The idea is to promote positive / useful posts
I might try to run a little report tonight and see how the likes are going...see how much it's being used and post some stats in here

It’s new although I remember suggesting it many many years ago when I made the suggesting for the thumb to access the classifieds......
