I got a powered Wheel ķit ordered from Amazon for wheel barrows. It arrived in 2 days. Cost 235. 3 forward speeds and reverse. Thumb throttle. 350 watt 24v.
I fittd it to carp porter. Biggest prob is the wheel fork. I did a little cutting and welding and got that sorted. The only other issue is fitting connectors. There are 8 wires going to/from wheel. 3 are automotive sort of grade (not very aware of wire gauges) so bought waterproof automotive connectors. 5 other wire are very thin and for these I used 5 pin led lighting connectors. These come pre-wired with approx 150mm of cable attached so easy to fit. Futher connectors fitted at handles. I bought the triporter conversion kit. The handle bar on this is square and the controls for the barrow are designed for round handles. I removed the handgrips from the conversion kit, slid out the square bar and replaced it with a bit of 22mm copper pipe I had kicking around and put the grips back on.
I've used it twice and it has been excellent. Put the wheel on the wrong way round once. Not a good idea so now clearly marked.
If I was to do it again the only thing I would change is the to retain standard barrow method, ie lift at the back, no wheels. I may get a twist throttle and fit it to old handles so that I can swap as required.
Edit. Forgot to mention controller, original connections etc are housed in a waterproof electrical connection box bolted to frame.
The powering aspect cost me less than 300 quid + battery, and took about 5 hours to sort. If you get the wheel from Alibaba as per Gerry (they seem identical) then you're looking at 200 pound quids. I went with A.....n purely on delivery.
If you can get the wheel mounting/ fork sorted then it's a viable option imo.

It’s perfect and everything is marked up (cables) so pretty bullet proof 👍

I was toying with the idea of converting myself or buying one of the kits. In the end I just sold my triporter and bought an extreme.
Seems there was a massive wait for kits.

when you order the wheel from my link MAKE SURE you select the right size as I think it defaults to the 36v one so you need to alter if if it does

Like the others have said I’ve already got a 12v charger so will buy 2 12v battery’s and wire them up in series and far easier to charge them up.

I converted my own using the 350w wheel, initially i used 2 x lead acids, but have moved onto a 24v lithium due to weight. as per below

That is the same kit (and seller) I have just got, it arrived last week. Not got a barrow to put it on yet so no idea if its a good one or not yet. Any one got a cheap tri-porter for sale
I am going down a different route with the battery but that's just because as an electronics engineer I like to do things differently to the norm. If my idea works I will no doubt publish what and how at some point later in the year.
Mine is also not really for fishing but moving supplies/wood around my woodland but it will get used on the odd longer fishing trip I am sure

Ok so I had a good look for you and this ones a lot of people use
choose the 24v-350 watt this is by far the most used option dont forget the shipping charges to be added so total would be about £130 ish should come fairly quick from this seller

AND AS FAR AS BATTERYS GO lots of options
but a popular one is 2 of these each battery comes with a charger too or they do a 24v one so you only need the one but its a fair bit more expensive

Hi Phil if you are on Facebook ? you can get the latest info about Aliexpress kits here and checkout Jamie Sutcliffe he makes any brackets you may need to adapt your barrows forks to accept the motor wheel

funny enough
someone recently posted they ordered a Wheel and kit on Jan 3rd got delivered on the 6th THREE DAYS FROM ALIEXPRESS 
they did however pay the extra express delivery charge
a point worth mentioning What some folk are not aware of
when ordering from AliExpress the commonly used wheels are all the same spec voltage and power however the internals are different for instance the main ring gear can be either plastic or metal
THIS IS WHY there is a big difference in prices that what seems at first glance to be the same wheel !
