Banana Nutrafruits was once great not so now it would seem, Capella do a lovely smooth banana and also a banana split one which as a creamy, vanilla back note. Try a tbsp of Banana nesquik whisked in with your eggs..... highly soluble milks, sugar and flavour all in one, been using it for donkeys years.

I bought CC Moores Banana and Nutrabaits, the Nutrabaits won hands down, much smoother and not as harsh. Could well be due to the different bases their on but that may also play a part in your decision depending on time of year.
Don't think I've ever heard a bad word on here about JB's

With quite a few JB flavours less is definitely more! Plum is a prime example.

No. I think it is down to his strong views and personal preferences with the use of his bait

I had a chat with him once, as anybody can, I discussed adding a few additional favourite additives of mine, after a polite bollocking i was convinced not to

Top man JB and i found him more than helpful

End of the day people can use whatever they like. Confidence is EVERYTHING

Ask Mike Willmott and you'll likely get a very different answer! To quote the essential website:

"It really does enhance the taste profile of any fruity type flavour, and instantly ‘kicks out' the Plum additive found within our Shellfish Plum flavour"

Granted JB's Plum isn't Essentials Shellfish Plum but IMO the FF6 does the same thing.

I have a lot of time for JB but some of his thoughts and theories on bait contradict actual findings I've experienced using his gear. The inclusion level of his Plum is an example. I recall Matt, the former owner of UB stating how his hookbaits contained far higher levels of JB's flavours than he suggests. Plus who cares what anyone/ the rule book says, experience tells me the two work very well together!
