Fermented maize certainly has a “smell “ about it
Especially with a little crab flavouring

I adopted the TCarper approach around five years ago. There's a "Fermented Maize" thrad within the bait section which explains it all.

Basically it involves using sugars as the bait breaks down to aid the fermentation process.

In the case of many baits, fresh certainly isn't best. What makes the bait naturally attractive is when it breaks down. It'll be better than any man made bait additive.

The sting…….i don’t know how many go out of the door but I spend my life putting them in tins!
The feedback from them alone is worth all of the agro we have to go through at times 😂🐝
