I got set of 3 about 2 years ago.
I have been suprised and pleased with their performance and have been tested with sturgeon to 100 lb cats to 80 and carp to 50.

I brought the full cork ones as wanted to try cork and on a tight budget.
I don't cast long range but fish bags in uk and boat in france.tbh I would buy another set if damaged these.
Yep.. their not tarty.. their a good mid range rod in my opinion.

They were much better than the new ones . Same era as two of the best rods wychwood produced the pandemonium and maximiser spd both those two still stand up to any new blanks.

Don't have the rods but Wychwood's gear is always solid. Some of their other rods have had rave reviews. I'd expect them to be decent for the money.

Bumping an old thread instead of creating new, has anyone got any review on these rods as I've seen they've come down quiet a bit in price.
