In reply to Post #633 to be fair, it's a pretty good make up job....
did you see him playing drums for them?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y0-hooDVxOo - same song but live with DG
edit - for tinhead who is getting on a bit...
This is Leona... looks and sings like an angel
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jqpAgMxhx30 - how to make a good song even better... this is perfection for me

In reply to Post #630 It was the first time I'd seen the video
I did listen to the richman song, not my cup of tea but I can appreciate the emotion behind it.

As a massive fan of the devil in that tenacious d video, it took me an embarrassingly long time to realise who it was

In reply to Post #620 not so much a fan of the tubes, but 3 classics in the others there.
Used to cover 'Out in the fields' in my first band and can remember learning the riff to 'Since you been gone' when i got my first guitar... happy days!
these guys keep popping up on my feed...
I got into them as they made the switch from scary goths to straight ahead rockers. Saw them on the 'Electric' tour. The audience was a mix of denim and leather against black polo necks and crosses... brilliant!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZCOSPtyZAPA - sanctuary
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RD5b_0QB0wI - rain (love the backing singers!)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k6PgftKbQnQ - 'baby, baby, baby, baby, baby, i fell from the sky..' (what a riff!)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kZUABAirbE4 - 'yeayah'
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5oRwlSIn918 - 'an angel with a broken wing' stunning song!
Great vocalist and showman in Ian Astbury and Billy Duffy a proper guitarist - must've kept the Les Paul factory open single handed until Slash came along...

In reply to Post #622 bream away mate
Quite like taking my boy on the Thames for bream, see lots of kids sitting bored while the dads are trying to bore a carp out
