Off to see them both tomoz wth wifey, our dual heritage daughter, 3/4 black grandson, his white girlfriend and their son. Just popping in for some casual racism and stereotyping . No it’s really for a slice of cake and a cuppa in the garden 😀 my mum at 85 still makes the best cakes ever 👍🏻 And it will be the first time they will meet their great, great grandson, he's 10 months old and was due to see them the week of lockdown so got postponed, socially distanced of course 😷😷😷

A mate is a manager at a Guinness plant. They've been on can production only since the start of lockdown. This week they've been told to fire up the kegging lines🍻

A proud generation who relied on themselves and no handouts ever.
Too right where would be without them
And someone on a nearby thread had the audacity to put down older folk

You will be so popular they will be pushing you back to work

My father made his first cup of tea today for himself and has had a poodle up and down his road with his new sooper dooper frame, not bad for an 92 year old who was admitted twice to hospital with heart failure and kidney infection in the last 3 weeks. The nurses cant believe that my mother 85 and him have not had any assistance from home helps and the rest before now! A proud generation who relied on themselves and no handouts ever.

My old home town club Barrow are going to be promoted 👍

Looks like I'll be celebrating 2 footy champions this year

agreed - and it's rare I'll say anything positive about a Man Utd player!

What an excellent example and role model. His family must be really proud of him.

I listened to a lady called Jane on Nihal's Radio 5 show today talking about the food poverty problem that is invisible to many. An amazing woman who is a self employed hairdresser and in the position of having to go food free on some days so her kids can eat.

Prompted me to do something and get involved here - https://fareshare.org.uk/

text FOOD to 70450 to donate £10 to help kids access the basics of a decent meal.

France's borders now open to all visitors from EU countries...Oh! Wait...we are no longer in the EU.

Not to worry though, They will officially open the boarders to all visitors from the UK and abroad on July 1st.
