Positive thoughts can set the tone for how we approach challenges and opportunities. And I would say the words we use every day also have an impact on that. Here are some I use that I get from this list of positive words:
Words like "thankfulness" remind me to appreciate the blessings in our lives, big and small.
"Beauty" encourages to find the magic in the world around us.
Oh, and my favourite one is "bonanza". Learned it recently. It means a bunch of good things altogether.

Sorry for reviving this thread, but I think most of us need something like that.
Today, I want to share a little reminder that every step you take, no matter how small, is progress. Even on those days when it feels like you're barely moving forward, remember that you're still moving. Sometimes, the most significant growth happens in the smallest moments, so be kind to yourself and celebrate those little victories.

Don't tell lies it's your browsing habits that has caused that.
Don't worry I won't judge, whatever you do in the privacy of your home is up to you

remember this one?

my positive thought for the day

you know how the little advertising banners flash up at the top of the forum page? usually related to your - or your kids / wife / cat's browsing habits...

so today one came up for the 'Victoria's Secret Semi-Annual Sale'... out of curiosity i clicked on it...

... I can see why they call it 'semi' annual now....

Well... until Biden won, we could always rely on the USA to do that job.

OK I believe you thousands wouldn't.

In that case it's ok for me to say I'm hoping more people suffer in other countries to make us look better.

So people getting ill and having to go into tier 3 is a positive.

I've been reading some of your recent posts and you need to have a rethink, you seem to be losing your hippy neutrality.
Some decisions are always going to be damned if they do and damned if they don't, no one can please all the people all the time.
Tiers, lockdowns and Christmas are a prime example
