In reply to Post #1119 The pre digested makes them go a lot softer. In reality mate, you should not 'really' be able to put that amount of such a soluble additive into any hook bait.... And still expect it too hold together after a few hours in the water. 10% is the recommended levels in a freezer bait for those exact reasons... We are using 33% added to the GPB1 base mix. One third of the total GPB2 base mix is constructed using pre digested fishmeal. Uber soluble.
The only reason we can get so much into the GPB2, is because of our curing process post boiling. This enables us to harden the bait up sufficiently enough to be able to do it.... But they do go very soft after a night in the water. This has always been a big reason in why all of our hook baits work so well. The more soluble something is... The easier it is for a carp to detect in water. It's a fine balancing act.
The results have been absolutely incredible... And if I am honest, a little bit scary for me personally.
They are catching far too many carp to put it simply. We are taking on new customers at an unheralded rate currently. Everyone is buying GPB2's. The reason I have not posted on here for a little while, is because I am currently working 7 days a week often 15-16 hours a day just trying to keep our waiting times down to as low as possible. I get messages every single day asking when the cheese will be released... But there is absolutely zero chance of that happening any time soon.
We simply cannot make the GPB2 fast enough at the moment.

In reply to Post #1119 I’ve found the gpb2 to be much softer than the gpb1. Must leak loads of attraction out. Had four fish on the same white s2 last weekend, was about 6mm by the time I caved and got a new one from the tub.

Managed to squeeze an afternoon session in last Friday, first time out on GBP2 on a tricky pressured lake.
The result was a 29.12 and 24.8, this was on the hottest day of the year with everything on the surface and nothing out for a few days and I could have added to the tally but had been done on all rods and bait had gone.
The predigested fishmeal potentially makes them softer, but carp can't seem to swim past them.

Glad to hear that you've got over that stomach virus. Nasty things.
GPB2 look and smell fantastic.
