In reply to Post #1384 We will have loads of the bottom bait barrels done for the end of February, in both GPB1 & GPB2.
It was impossible to get anything resolved over Xmas, because of trying to keep the Tackle Box & Fish On stocked as well as building some stock for ourselves. Normally in the winter it is easy, but this winter because of how much those two shops have been selling, it has been much much harder. I opened my mouth stupidly about them going on the website, but then the shops sold out immediately and needed loads more stock.
I’m away for a couple of weeks now, that’s why I’ve not been about. We have loads of regular stock, and orders are going out rapid whilst I’m away. As soon as I get back, we will get a load more bottom bait barrels done I promise.

In reply to Post #1383 (having a chat with myself here )
Gave them a try last night and managed one, only a double but it was the only fish out on the lake to 12 rods, so a nice result. Solid bag of pellet/crumb and a single spod of corn over the top.
@TCarper any chance of doing a pot of bottom baits?

They are much "nicer" smelling than I thought they would be (GPB1), must get out and try them

In reply to Post #1373 Hi Christian
No that is completely normal mate. It's good moisture/condensation from the baits liquid cure themselves. Not water condensation, which would make them go off. We heat the baits up numerous times during the curing process. Then we heat them up again whilst drying them back out too numerous times. They are constantly subjected to heat, long after they are boiled in water and dried. When they are counted into tubs after the last dry, often there is still some heat in the centre of the bait... That can create a touch of condensation inside the tub after the lid is screwed up tight. That's what you can see there. It only happens in the winter. In the summer you will not see it at all on new baits from us. It's just a consequence of our curing process and the cold weather. Keep the lid screwed on, give them a few swirls, it will disappear completely. It's only goodness from the baits themselves, which they will suck back in.

In reply to Post #1372 Hi TC
I ordered a pot of 13mm CC S2s and CC GPB2s the other day. They turned up nice and quickly, thank you.
The GPB2s appear to have a tiny bit of moisture in the pot, I'm not going to be using them for a few months, is that natural or should I leave the lid off for a bit in the house? It's such a minut amount I wouldn't normally consider it but just remember reading something in an earlier post about moisture and the baits.
Cheers
Christian
