magic beans.

Mark, your post below is so, so spot on though isn't it - a 'right' reality check in the real world,
You must see and hear it every day.

Great to see the Real good anglers, working full time, with families having mega results.

One thing I see a lot is novice anglers thinking that they are buying magic beans from us. Magic beans that are going to do certain incredible things, the first and then every single time they go fishing. They are buying magic beans from us. But they are not going to go and smash fish every single time with them. Fishing does not work like that. It would be really boring if it did.

A big difference between a really good angler, and a really average angler, is often essentially this below. The really good angler understands that everytime he goes fishing, everything is not going to be at the optimum. The moon, the conditions, the pressure, the fact someone clumped half the lake over the last three days and they are all sitting in the snags. These and a whole lot more reasons all contribute to this. A really good angler changes nothing essential. Nothing tool wise. Only watercraft changes. They are consistent with the essentials. They will not change their hook pattern, they will not change their mainline, it's not their baits fault, or the new rods. It's 'fishing'.

An average angler can't get their heads around this. They have purchased some magic beans, and them magic beans better work right now. Change the magic beans. Change the hooks, change the entire rig, change the mainline, change the rods..... Change it all.

When everything is 'right' for them and the stars align, which they always do.... The really good angler is using things, that he knows are going to cause utter devastation for him. His rigs, his magic beans, the whole lot. He will haul.

The average angler has no confidence, he has changed everything three times over, pickled his own brain on the internet 27 times over watching YouTube. The stars align and he is now using absolute crap. He is then blanking, or maybe catching one.... When he should be hauling, if he had just a little patience. Someone else fishing in the swim next door is not being average, he understands the above. He's getting his camera gear ready again.

Ricci, one of the ones he caught along with the biggest mirror in lake.

GPB2/pink S2 combined.

Nice

Only as good as the bait that you are sat behind at the end of the day. One thing I love about yours, they certainly work, evidence is EVERYTHING, fish after fish after fish

Me too don't worry about that. Worse than dickhead too

So you understand better than anyone mate. Imagine 4 of them under the age of 9/10 at a guess. A thriving business, a very young family. That's hard work just to go carp fishing, especially where you are up against very good anglers, who can fish full time too.

Then he goes and does things like that. Maximum respect from me.

Would make a change Mark, most call me dickhead and would like to hold me under the water.

I've got an ageing misses two grown up kids and like to get out fishing at the weekends so she's not nagging me to do jobs at home

I'm more impressed that he has 4 kids, a beautiful missus, and goes carp fishing at all. Let alone them numbers

If you done what you are speaking of in 60 nights, they would all be calling you 'Terry' and thinking you could walk on water, trust me.

I'd hate to be an "EXCEPTIONAL" angler and complete Dinton WS in thirty nights, I'd like to think i'd get at least sixty nights for my money.

Exceptional angling and exceptional Fish

This is the sort of stuff, that when it was actually happening, I could never even mention online. It would simply take us to places we could not be taken at the time in terms of orders. Imagine that. You can't even ever talk about things like this. This is the very first time I've have ever mentioned these numbers online. I still cannot mention them on the bigger social media platforms. Our website might literally blow up.

John Cash had 37 bites, landed 30 carp, in his first, and only 30 nights on Dinton White Swan. That is truly incredible on that lake. He works full time (has his own floor laying business) and has four beautiful young kids. He is a good angler. Give a good angler our S2, and they will do stupid things with them. Really stupid things.

He was done and pretty much dusted in those 30 nights. Works full time, fishing against packs of the best hungry young anglers around, all with far more time than he could ever wish for.
