Well done Christopher & John. Also Keebs again. Keebs, the slippery mofo...
Members of this forum, have landed some proper carp in the past couple of weeks. It's almost as good as me going fishing myself... Almost

In reply to Post #146 That's because they have not gone off Carl. It's only fermentation. They will smell nicer now, sweeter. When they smell 'off', chuck them.
You will batter fish on those furry Crystal Palace ones

In reply to Post #145 I've been using S2 corkballs in both 12mm & 16mm on my syndicate with with very good results.
Inside solid bags and on lead clip arrangements, as singles or over bait. The carp certainly find them and eat them.
I'll be ordering some more very soon Mark.

In reply to Post #143 Yes they are crack cocaine for mice as well as carp Rab. They will leave anything, and everything else to get to an S2 the little ****s
Our big problem with the garlic, is blue bottle flies. It brings swarms of them, whilst it's drying. Never seen anything like it

In reply to Post #142 Hi Carl. They are still great to use mate until they turn green and smell. As long as the spore is white and they smell great, they are lush. Sent you some replacements just now anyway.

In reply to Post #141 Perfect, thanks Mark. I haven't used the new ones yet as I still have a few of the bright pink's left. Had pb's on pink s2's last couple of trips.
I still have half a pot of the original s2 corkballs too. They've got to be about 8 years old now! A mouse had the other half. 12 pots of pop ups and it decided th eat yours ....
Cheers, Ian.

In reply to Post #135 Here you go Rab, here is a pink S2 CC cut in half. It's only on the very outside that stain. Just under the surface, they are bubble gum pink.
It will wash out rapidly that stain to leave a bright hook bait... But you'll have had a bite by then anyway

In reply to Post #135 Hi Rabs. The white and the pink S2 are still the same colour under the surface, it's just a stain on the outside of the hook bait. They will turn brighter white/pink once in the water. The original brown S2, contain a very dark coloured liquid. When we first started doing the whites and the pinks... This dark liquid was left out of the whites/pinks, to avoid staining them. Now we have been in business a lot longer, and anglers trust us far more, the dark liquid is now added to the whites/pinks too. They are still exactly the same colour as before, the dark stain, is pure goodness which will wash out once immersed.
They are far better hook baits for having that dark liquid added to them Rabs, but unfortunately it does stain them for inside the tub to look at.
