In reply to Post #36 I had the rare Ghostie on first trip years ago off my syndicate using the GLMF over a bed of hemp, had plenty of fish using the S4 over the years but have noticed a difference with my recently purchased S4 compared to my originals colour is different and buoyancy is too as tried a S4 with a size 4 ronnie and wouldn't sit up so tried my last original one and straight up

In reply to Post #21 Took the plunge and ordered a pot of GPB1 yesterday.
How are you fishing them, singles or alongside bottom baits?
Asking you specifically Wayne as I know we are using the same bait (SLK?) but also how's everyone else using them?

In reply to Post #32 I incorrectly ordered the naturally coloured s2’s, but after using them and seeing the washed out colour I’m sold on it.

In reply to Post #28 Well lads just done a week on open access Acton burnell and came out last in draw of 15 anglers so ended up on black dicks lake or bottom Acton in the deeps the fish just wasn't there. I kept seeing fish move down the shallow arm across from me nothing massive as majority of the units was in the pads in the shallows other end of the lake. I tryed all sorts of tactics and bait for these fish and as every peg was full my only option was a bit of stalking In the shallow arm across. Now in the arm I tryed beds of bait fish spooked off it comin in taking one and moving out. I tryed casting to showing fish they spooked off it. more than a single line in the water you guessed it these fish spooked off it. These was no mug fish these was fish that had seen it all. So after watching and learning there patrol route and watching anglers on the far side where the fish moved I worked out they was fishin it all wrong and at 2.45 every day a pod of fish would work there way up that side of the lake the sun was on that side. So naturals must be more prevalent there. Id tryed nealy every bait pop wafter i had with me.So desperation was calling having cast a single tigernut to a spot id seen fish to no avail I was running out of ideas. in my bag I had a second hand pot of marks s1 corkers so though why not. I waded out in the arm and placed the rig quietly as I could paying loads of the 18lb sensor to hug the contours of the lake I placed my single bankstick in the long grass and led down 3 hours later full on one toner I was made up worked very hard for that and took 3 days of messing but got my first fish and like buses every day was the same biggest fish was just shy of thirty but dropped a serious fish. Ended my week with 5 bites 4 fish all thanks to the s1 marks baits. So all in all these saved my week deffo worth a try

S3s are my favourite , dark aniseed / spicy sort of smell but go a lighter colour in the water.
