In reply to Post #127 I think what Rossi did with Yamaha was unreal, took them to another level and got the results. I wonder f he put his hand on his heart who was his best bike and team ever, I’m gonna go for Honda, faultless at the time and another one, why would you leave such a successful combination?
What I’m saying is I wonder where he would have gone with Honda if he had stayed there?

the day Moto gp fans stoop to the level of football supporters ill stop going . some Moto gp forums are turning into right slanging matches,bt sports Moto gp page add flames to the fire also.sadly there is a lot of arm chair fans. the hotel I was in had mixed support, and we all had a good time over the weekend over several beers with no arguments just friendly banter no throwing bar stools at each other..mm doesn't help himself though, after winning at the weekend he didn't need to stop infront of stand brutapela gold where myself and many many other Rossi fans were sat to celebrate the win, its obvious he would wind up the ities .

In reply to Post #126 Fans, trouble is when fans have their hero, be it moto gp, football, boxing etc very few can look at another competitor and and admit a rival is more highly skilled or has a superior natural talent. When rossi was winning rivals claimed the yamaha was so much better than the rest of the grid, now they say Honda is but the fact is very few are capable of riding any of these machines and fewer still capable of winning but when someone wins consistently they are a special talent.

In reply to Post #123 Agreed, nobody likes to see their idol loose and rossi has been at it a very long time and has a massive fan base, he is going to have a huge influence on the sport even when he stops racing himself his precence will be there through his racing school.

In reply to Post #117 As much as I respect mms riding skills he will never have a folllowing like rossi. Even in the spanish races his support puts more bums on seats. I was in san marino the weekend and the amount of money his support puts into the surrounding towns bars cafes hotels etc is astounding. Not to mention what his shop in talvuela took off me :/

In reply to Post #119 Sounds like it’s clear cut, you like rat boy, I like Rossi
Best all round bike, Honda are miles ahead and have been for a long time, forget Cal C the only thing they have in common is it’s a bike with a Honda badge on, one is absolute cutting edge the other is not, as for Lorenzo, lost the plot
What did Honda do with Ducati’s dominance, designed the SP1 / 2 created a twin And bet Ducati at their own game.
WSB Honda are designing a new bike and poaching Batista from Ducati. Bet you they blow Ducati next season
Pointless discussion, opinions, show me some facts
I bet Hondas R&D blow the others away

In reply to Post #118 And the most talented rider ever on it, funny though as the Honda is supposed to be the hardest bike on the grid to ride, ask Crutchlow or lorenzo, neither has really mastered it. Conversely the yamaha is supposed to be the easiest most forgiving, as they have tried to get the straight line speed from it the handling has deteriorated which is why I said before rossi never should have parted from the real doctor who made it work for him.

Fabio, superb again, lets have him on a factory bike
Great ride by rat boy, Superior bike the Honda though, just saying

In reply to Post #116 To put it in perspective Marquez has got to win around forty more races to catch Rossi's win total and will he still be racing and be as competitive at forty? I very much doubt it, lets see if he ever goes to anther team and wins, clearly he is a great racer but the youth will be snapping at his heels very soon, Quartararo for one
I think its obvious Rossi is past his best but he just loves racing so you have to respect him for that and he is probably responsible for at least an extra 25% or more on the gate figures at every Moto GP race, in fact I would go as far as to say a lot of todays racers owe a lot to him in terms of earnings. Moto GP will be a lot poorer for the day he goes. I cant remember the last time I saw a celebration at the end of the race like he used to do when he was winning, Lorenzo tried it once or twice but it wasn't quite the same
I might be biased....I live at number 46!

mm had allready lost his lap for hitting the green, but to be fare they are both as bad as each other lately...good ride from quatro, best race of the weekend for me though was Moto 3..
