In reply to Post #289 Good race, rumour was ducati had reigned them in a little to improve rideability.

Well done Sam Lowes, great start to the season, world champ would be nice
Saying that, his bikes paint job is horrible, burgundy!
Fantastic ride by MV, looks like FQ has caused a bit of competition. Really disappointed for Mir, another brilliant ride. Those Ducati’s in a straight line are untouchable. Same in WSB last year, gaining 3 - 5 bike lengths on the straight, x that by 20 laps!

In reply to Post #287 Hi All
Well I'm never listening to FQ again, especially when he says the yamaha's can't get the power down!!!

In reply to Post #286 Yea been following, don't believe rossi's bike is the full fat animal of the factory team but easier to ride and still quick enough to beat less gifted riders.

Anybody watching the qualifying?
Zarco, 225mph, surprised he can see lol, mental
Interesting qualifier that
Rossi is fast!

In reply to Post #284 I think the only way he loses over the season for me Jon is if Yamaha give FQ a better and reliable bike, emphasis on reliable!
Where do the threats come from? Suzuki, Yamaha, Ducati, KTM. Mir is the world champ and what Suzuki have done with that bike is pretty amazing for me but you have to question, would they have been as competitive if rat boy was in the mix?
Said it before, the factory Honda is the benchmark in MotoGP for me, add quality rider, near on job done
Let’s hope for a real mix up, competitive racing that goes to the final round, if we do it should be a great season for the fans

In reply to Post #283 Hi All
It's all getting a bit silly with MM again.
He states he's out for the 2 Qatar races, but will race portamao.
Then the medics say racing portamao is tottaly dependant on a medical on April 12th
Then there's a story in one of the Spanish mags that his arm is still infected and he's got at least 2 more months out
And still Honda say nothing.
Like or loathe the guy moto gp is better off with him on track

In reply to Post #282 To telling if being injured with such a long recovery will mess with his mind set.

In reply to Post #281 He could probably sit half the season out and still win it, can’t say I’m a fan but you have to admire him, reckless and dangerous at times but I guess that’s comes with a desire to beat the rest. No denying it though, a fantastic rider, one of the all time greats, no doubt

So MM is not going to be riding at the first two races.

In reply to Post #279 That’s interesting Jon, not seen that, wonder if MV is the same, that could be just down to a pure aggressive style and how he puts the power down? Saying that with modern electronics, thought they would be able to sort it, If it’s both riders, that’s a problem!
Still think the factory Honda is the benchmark myself in moto GP. Yamaha was poor last year, not to mention the engine and brake problems! MV 120mph dismount was amazing to see!
I think with FQ they have made a fantastic signing that could bring them success for many years if they can give him a decent bike, he is fast, some real competition for MM
Like you mention though, all about the tires and preservation for me, no point black lining them out of every corner
Can’t rule out Suzuki for me, what they have done with that bike is amazing!

Hi Chris
Biggest news for me is FQ can't put it together, he's apparently burning up every rear tyre he's been given. If that's the case all the Yamaha riders will struggle getting the power down.
Same old unfixed problem?

In reply to Post #277 You know he won’t be far off MM Jon, love him or loathe him, he is competitive and ruthless
FQ on the factory Yamaha, hope they give him a decent bike
JM on the factory Ducati, I like Miller too, deserves the ride for me!
And can Mir defend his tittle?
And thrown in KTM and the rest. all adds up to some decent racing for me, can’t wait

Hi All
They are saying down here that a final decision will be made next week, but it's most likely rat boy will at least do some of the free practices and will most likely race
