Thought free practice 2 was Rea, Redding and Gerlott

Moto GP - Martin qualifies and runs it off track lol, Zarco 2nd and MV 3rd, Miller 4th and FQ 5th. Hopefully a competitive race

Hope Yamaha win, Mir 9th, some work to do there.

Think it was Zarco or one of the Ducati's, 15mph faster down the straight than Mir, yep, 15mph faster

Rea tops out

Reading and Ducati second

And Gerlot 3rd, god I hate Americans lol

New blade is well down, not good for Honda, I guess they are pushing this, saying that I wonder what the sales will be like, 20k when you can buy a Gixer RR for 16k and most others are in the new blade price range!

Like the WSB, virtually something you can buy from a shop and ride on the road or track.Technology is now immense

I think Zarco will be up there again, possible win if he gets out front and manages tires

Hope she wins!

The grand prix don’t really interest me, the grand precession, whoever gets in front usually wins

You wanna see some crazy overtaking, handle bar touches, pulling others brake levers, high sides, low sides, the lot

2 wheels

Oh jeez,

The Mrs is trolling the betting sites,(non moto gp) but she just bagged Bottas to get a podium spot next week at 17-1
Sadly only $10 went down

Hi All

Anyone like a bet?

We've got Jorge Martin at 30-1 To get on the podium this weekend and Mr Miller at 2.3 To win.
Total nuts, and the mrs just pipped up that the Remy Gardner odds are 2.2 for the win????
What are the UK odds looking like guys??

Best

Hi Jon,

Brakes are everything

One of my favourite bikes ever, the Pepsi Suzuki of the late 80s and one of my favourite riders, Schwantz won many GPS that year and I once read an article in MCN and it said it was all down to the brakes, the Yamaha couldn’t touch the Suzi!

I also read a book about moto GP riding styles, covered Pedrosa's and Hayden’s factory Hondas and there were pictures of them side by side, a comparison. Pedrosa's rear brake disc was tiny in comparison to Haydens which was quite large. The late Hayden came from a motocross background and liked to use the rear brake to help turn / slide it into corners, immense

Who cares, exciting stuff, looks like the same but ain’t

Watched a WSB race last year. J Rea, one of the greatest on the brakes around, in 6th gear on the straight flat out with the throttle pinned was knocking it down into 5th whilst on the gas and then hitting the brakes hard before easing off and trail braking the corner, unreal, bet the gearbox was scrapped regular lol
