anyone going to be at Donnington?

Canít get tickets, guessing a lot of people have them from last year.

As for adventure bikes, I have rode an Africa twin, mate has a shop and a GS, if was looking at an s1000r and a 1250RS and the BMW dealer also persuaded me to test the GS, not for me. Ultimately itís about who is riding them. I donít see many racing them at the TT

MV looks pissed off but at the end of the day he has a factory bike same as FQ and he needs to get it performing, he is not for me

I hopeToprak from WSB gets the ride next year, I would love to see that.!

I agree, I thin Rossi has done sadly, well off race pace as he searches for one more win, cannot see that happening!

You obviously haven't tried a modern adventure bike, I've riden in Yorkshire, Northumberland, Peak District, Wales and Scotland on tight twisty roads and the tall riding position, active suspension suit them perfectly. Several professional road testers have said they couldn't ride a sports bike as fast as the multistrada v4s or ktm super adventure on uk roads.

Good racing this weekend, anyone going to be at Donnington?

Yeah, like the commentators said, very odd re MV, didn't one say he was happy to cancel his contract and forego his wages? Must be bad in the garage, dont think FQ is short of a bit of ego.

Sad to say this, I think VR should give up his ride, let a youngster have a go for the rest of the season, needs putting out of his misery if he won't do it himself.

Echo that, dominant performance for the lad

Yamaha one two and Mir takes third!

MV second with another crap start and then took ages to pass. Sounds like he is off to Aprillia, I bet Yamaha canít wait

Solid race for FQ, still wishing Taka could get a podium, needs to be able to deal with knocks.

Moto2, Sam Lowes, hoping he was going to win, 4th, donít know what was happening with the shoulder glance when Gardner passed him, like he was happy with third!

Great ride by Fernandez. Title looking like itís Gardnerís

Thereís some completion for MotoGP rides in the next couple of years thatís for sure

Agree on the comfort. As for faster, thatís all down to the rider!

I ride a lot in the Peak District and North Yorkshire moors, proper twistys and a good mix of roads. I would put a good rider on an MT09 against anything up to 100mph. Adventure bikes are too big and need too much road space, sports bikes are uncomfortable but with right set up, which is everything, are fast.

Multi v4s, all day comfort, faster than a sports bike on our crap roads, litre sports bikes are track focused and exhausting to ride on road.

multistrada v4s

Donít do much for me adventure bikes. The V4 is amazing. The prices are ridiculous though, the death of the litre bikes, all pushing 20k

RS 660 and R7 twins for all for 10k plus!

Saying that, for the road, perfect power, just love litre bikes

Always said it ain't what it does its the way it does it, the 916 Road bike was 20/30 hp down on the then jap sports bikes was was still quicker on the road.

Donít dispute that. The straight line speed is ridiculous compared to others, bit on an unfair advantage for me, saying that they lack in corners due to the geometry but like you say, they are approved. WSB and Batista he was making up to 12 bike lengths on the straights a couple of years ago, times that by 25 laps

Wins down to riders skills?

Thatís why I was never a big Fogerty fan, always though he had a distinct competitive advantage. Saying that, I was at Donnington MotoGP around 92 when he had a wild card ride, and ditched it, not at the races
