Babic v Balski.
How was Balski allowed to continue to have his belt that high up?.
Cracking last couple of rounds that I saw.

In reply to Post #2302 I heard an interview with Eddie Hearn in the week saying the winner could get a shot at the winner of the Canelo vs Bivol rematch (assuming that happens).
I’d also rather see the Yarde fight first

In reply to Post #2293 Oh I agree he won't fight the same way again and will definitely try to get inside more to throw those shots. I just can't see it happening. Bivol will be expecting a better canelo for sure, and that's why he'll be better himself next time around. It should be an absolute cracker

In reply to Post #2292 I’ve already said why he didn’t thrown the left to the body. Do you think he is going to come out again and fight in exactly the same way! He has to change things. If he can get that left hand working he has a chance. He ain’t going to come out and try to out jab a man with a superior reach. Since he has gone up in weight he has changed his style with the high guard and just try’s to walk people down with power punches. He needs to feint jabs and throw jabs to get inside him to land the power shots. Look at the GGG fights, he fought him on the back for in the first and the front in the second. What your stating is a no brainier, Bivol looked superb and I will repeat, anybody would expect him to win the second on that peformance. I will say this again, it’s all down to Canelo, Bivol will have learned a bit but he ain’t going to change much from the win. Another 12 to go
As for benavidez, good fighter but he has not exactley fought any big names at the moment and he had a spilt decision against the Romanian. Lemieux next, could say benavidez is picking his fights there

In reply to Post #2291 You got the was bit right about kovalev mate. But when canelo fought him he was past his best by quite a way. He won't get near to bivol to launch the body attack. If he wants a proper challenge which makes sense the it has to be benavidez. Nobody else at the weight will really be much of a problem for canelo. But benavidez has been avoided by him for a reason

In reply to Post #2290 He destroyed Kovalev who was a proper pound for pound match for anybody, nuff said. For me though the guys at this weight are shedding to make it, probably hang around a stone or two heavier at their natural weight, Canelo is making it and fighting men much bigger than him, don’t ever say he does not like a challenge lol
Bivol used the jab to perfection, it wasn’t a stiff one from the hip it was just a continuous flicking one to manage the range and get the points win. Great boxing performance
The rematch is a real 50/50 and any betting man would put his money on Bivol based on the last fight, once you have somebody’s number you could probably fight them 10 times and win. The second fight will be all about how Canelo adapts. Full body work out on Bivol and he would be out of there for me. Like I said though, Canelo didn’t want to let the left go, that could be down to Bivol right, hardly thrown but ready to counter. It’s the test of a real champion this, how he comes back, Bivol got the points, not the knockout. I think Canelo was more frustrated than beat up.

In reply to Post #2289 You think he will win the rematch? It wasn't even close ? The scorecards were a joke, far too close . I think bivol wins again, and quite comfortably too. Canelo just isn't naturally big enough to deal with the size guys up at lhw. And the talk of going up again to hw is comical. He'd have no chance against the big boys. Not the decent ones anyway. The way he's going up and up in weight I'm surprised he hasn't tested positve for peds again
Just read bivol wants the rematch at super middle, closer to canelos natural weight class ,just to prove he's better
