In reply to Post #2403 Kelly fight might be a decent one
As for the Geordie shore star, if the lad can box and he is serious, respect, if he is another bum looking for a bit of fame I hope he gets a good hiding, nothing good towards the image of the sport if so. Should create a mugs league and let them all slap each other in there

In reply to Post #2400 Surprisingly I would think it might be a pretty much even matched fight myself

In reply to Post #2399 yes Saunders is looking to come back apparently
and I think Benn will be to fast for Eubank

In reply to Post #2398 That would have been better for eubank Gerry

it wouldnt surprise me to see Eubank v Saunders 2

I hope Eubank gets sparked out and his career is put to bed, absolutely no interest whatsoever for me. The blueprint is out there, George Groves absolutely humiliated him with counter punching, Liam Williams was made for Eubank, egressive fighter who will walk onto anybody. As for Benn, I hope he wins. I don’t think either come anywhere near there fathers, great warriors in their day
As said, Eubank is 32, I would love to see him fight GGG
It’s where Benn goes next for me, needs to look for those big fights, I think he is ready for them too, lot of experience now

In reply to Post #2395 This is true. Some truly awful boxing journalists over there. Scott gilfoid being the worst imo. Joe calzaghe was just a slapper who never fought anyone of note lol, Carl froch was gifted his world title, Tyson fury is only successful because he cheats.. think they are just bitter because they just don't have the talent they used to over there. And to be honest it's hardly surprising, an athlete can box and maybe make a few quid, or can play "football" and make millions.

In reply to Post #2394 Yeah i saw that Benn is only 25 i think and eubank 32 ? So benn is hardly cashing out yet , americans dont rate eubank or benn but they never rate british boxers highly. To be honest Benn does,nt need this i would rather him concentrate on the welterweight division but they must think he can beat eubank as he has been treated with kid gloves upto now.

In reply to Post #2392 Do you ever go on boxing news 24 Jeff? There's some guy just written an article on there saying Benn is cashing out on his career with this fight, and that he's being "fed to the wolves" and likening the right to when Kell stepped up against ggg. Those Americans have some right funny ideas about boxing

In reply to Post #2392 It's definitely been on the cards for a long time now, I think it's the right time now. Any earlier and Benn wouldn't have the experience , any later and who knows what eubank would have left in him. If Benn can stop him that's quite a statement

In reply to Post #2391 Thats a good point Ian weight can be a massive issue and can totally change a fighter im 6ft 4 and at 17 1/2 stone could really bang but was much slower than i was at 16 stone but then did,nt hit as hard but was very quick ,Its a fight that everyone has been wanting since they both turned pro and one im really looking forward to. I obviously was nowhere near at the level these 2 are a million miles away in fact but weight is crucial.

In reply to Post #2390 Yeah it's going to be a big one just because of the history for sure. Agreed I think Benn has the tools to do the job ,I wonder if the extra weight may slow him down a little? Should be a good one.

In reply to Post #2389 I think benn will be too quick and too powerful for eubank ,but eubank is a strange one to work out , some fights he looks decent others very average infact lazy in parts.I do think its amazing given their fathers history destiny i suppose.
