In reply to Post #491 I'm sure he could knock me out with the wind off his gloves but at world title level, another bum fight
Still if he's in there, he has the potential to spark AJ, as anybody has

In reply to Post #490 Gerry take it from me he is no title contender or shouldnt be ! A boxer who never looks fit in my opinion.

In reply to Post #489 and I think AJ`s new opponent Ruiz is more dangerous than Miller would have been apparently he has fast hands and must be very hungry huge opportunity for him

In reply to Post #488 Well Jacobs was the first real fighter to give GGG a run for his money so you never know, got the reach

In reply to Post #487 Im thinking there could be upset with that one ?

Fight of the year this weekend for me Canelo vs.Jacobs
Very tough fight on paper but I expect Canelo to smoke him
If he does not, that’s something else

Midlands title shot next fight for Nathan.
Tyler Denny vacated the midlands title in an attempt to go onto bigger and better things. Therefore Nathan be fighting Ryan Aston at the kings hall Stoke on Trent on 21st June 2019.
Hopefully Nathan can take that title then he himself can attempt to go onto better things too.

In reply to Post #480 There’s a reason Hearn gets booed at fights, the fans know he’s in it primarily for his on gains, he try’s to pillock the boxing nation but the fans know. Looks after his earners £, cash flow...
Good though when your there in the post fight interviews and the booing starts, quite funny really
Facts are nobody is bigger than the belts imho and they should announce mandatory defences now and again, that would sort it out
Your fighting bums again, you need to fight Mr X before X date or you loose the belt, simple for me. Takes Hearn and all the others con men out of it, just arrange the fight

In reply to Post #481 Oh definitely ruiz is a bit of a last resort, thing is who else is there that would have stepped in at that short notice and would be more competitive? Hunter I don't reckon would have faired any better than ruiz will, Parker ortiz both too short notice, whyte possibly but what would the draw be in America?, most of the other possible candidates are already scheduled to fight elsewhere, or he's already beaten them. I know I won't bother watching this one if it is confirmed as ruiz

In reply to Post #480 Yeah they probably all as bad but hearn has the world champ , he calls the shots ! Ruiz looked fat and unfit in his last fight, and should not pose a threat at all , I hope he finds that lucky punch to stop hearn and joshua in their tracks.
|
|
|
In reply to Post #479 Is it just hearn though jeff? From what I've read all the managers/promoters/money men are doing their but to **** it right up.
|
|
|
Im afraid the heavyweight division is becoming a joke , struggling to find an opponent for a world title fight ! Its crazy , hearn cant keep putting joshua together with no hopers , whoever he faces next has got 4 weeks to prepare , Hearn is an absolute disgrace and is turning the sport into a circus.

In reply to Post #477 It is mate, very disappointing. I fully believe its not the men themselves but the promoters who are making a cock up of the scene at the minute. I know it was ortiz manager who ducked the aj fight, and ortiz and his trainer aren't happy about it at all. Would have been a nice payday for him at the end of his career, he knows he won't get that kind of money against anyone else
