Just watched the latest Joshua program on Sky
Is he gonna change his style, no,,gonna improve on what he did...or did not!
I want him to win but I feel he’s not at the races, Ruiz quicker this time for me
Absolutely the best role model for the sport for a long time though

In reply to Post #720 There’s a lot of vengeance with the Smiths lol

In reply to Post #719 I like canelo too chris, him v Smith is definitely the fight that has to be made. Tbh, I reckon Smith wins that.

In reply to Post #718 Massive Canelo fan
I want to see him fight Callum Smith that might be a very close one
Canelo vs. Kovalev, seriously, if he wins that and it happens that would be absolutely unreal

In reply to Post #717 Yep, yarde is his mandatory. Too soon for yarde imo. The canelo thing has been rumbling on for a little while now, they see kovalev is slipping so see an opportunity. Expect that to be a box and run kind of fight if it ever happens, if canelo wins he vacates immediately anyway

In reply to Post #716 I hope your right mate
I see Kovalev is fighting Yardie, that should be interesting, nasty man Kovalev, albeit he has peaked. Then I saw on the news about a fight between him and Canelo WTF is all that about, Canelo at light heavy
I would love to see Kovalev vs. GGG

In reply to Post #715 I would love fury to knock wilder clean out chris, but I can't see it happening. Fury doesn't have that kind of ko power. Wide points decision would be my guess. He will come back sharper, and in better shape than the last one and he only really made 2 mistakes that whole fight, I reckon he will stay on his feet for 12 this time, and if that happens there's no way wilder can beat him imo.

In reply to Post #714 I don't know, I still think the Fury rematch could be a 50/50. I expect Fury to box his head off but Wilder still has the dynamite, one wrong move and it could be all over. I hope Fury lays him out

In reply to Post #713 Yes mate he's trimmed down, quite a bit by the look of it. Should help his movement making him harder to hit. Added movement and stamina and he beats ruiz imo. Wilder, that's a lottery for me. They can both be hit, they both bang, so potentially could go either way. Agree on fury though, he's such a skilled boxer I dont see anyone beating him tbh. I did wonder how he'd do once he had a bomb land on his chin but the wilder fight showed his power of recovery is incredible. I think the only one with the skill to trouble him would be usyk, but the lack of size would be a major problem against fury I think. He will need to get close to land and I can't see fury letting that happen too often

In reply to Post #712 I haven’t mate, no.
It’s an interesting one for me because to get pass Ruiz somehow I think he has to reinvent himself. I have been critical of him for a long time, not because I don’t like the lad, but because I could see what was going to happen, he is far to easy to hit and he struggles to take a punch, he seriously lacks movement, especially lateral to slip, move and reposition himself so he has serious limitations for me.
To be fair if like you say he is more lean and athletic let’s hope this is what they are working on, a no brainier for me, tells me they have to, it’s just if he can adopt his style and that is going to be tricky imho
If he can that would be brilliant and he deserves all the credit he gets. For me Mr Hearn has been selling everybody a dummy (in the lightest sense) for a long time $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
Seriously, you think Ruiz battered him, Wilder would kill him
Fury will humiliate him and make him look a proper dummy if they ever meet

In reply to Post #711 Have you seen aj lately Chris? He's actually looking like a boxer not a bodybuilder. Come down in weight, (quite a bit by the look if it). Think he's realised sheer power isn't enough, you need cardio. Ruiz I expect to come in in better shape too so it makes for an interesting one

In reply to Post #710 Seen it mate. Can that be a good decision
TBH I can’t see how Joshua can beat him, Ruiz absolutely battered him last time out, I expect much of the same. It either who’s got the biggest hammer and it ends early or Joshua tries to hold him on the jab and I just can see that happening myself
