McCracken had him boxing tonight, fair play.
Needed to be composed and did a job but was more a formality than a spectacle. At least the Saudis got some rounds for their zillion quid

No matter what AJ did tonight he would not make everyone happy. It was being said before he was to muscle bound,he trims down he gets slated. He boxed to instruction, got the job done which I did not think he would. He has come from humble beginnings and is a very wealthy man for that I say well done.

Joshua boxing to instruction, just had to to win

Contrasting styles in which I enjoy seeing a boxer keeping a fighter at bay.
Well done AJ stuck to the gameplan.

I've said for years Wilder would DESTROY AJ. That fight has not changed my mind.
AJ danced his way to the belts. Mind numbingly boring fight.

Joshua boxed well thought it was an awful fight .

Job done for Joshua
Boring fight but tactically he was superb, nice short popping jab and superb movement. Massive learning from the first fight, worlds apart, he boxed this time
Still the 3rd best heavy weight in the world. Wilder of Fury soon I hope

In reply to Post #969 Think the same, he is not a natural, very limited skills. Poster boy of British boxing and to be fair he is a good figure head for the youth. Just laughing, watched the 7th round again where Ruiz puts it on him, clueless in defence
My current thinking, being caught up in the pre fight build up is, has RMcK changed him, if it’s possible to get the job done? Basic skills for fighting a smaller fighter is the upper cut on the way in, can’t see how he can throw it without been seriously countered
My deep down thoughts are, he doesn’t stand a chance, Ruiz has his number and once you have somebody’s number you could beat them time and time again
One thing for sure if it comes to Joshua sitting on a pile of belts for the next few years fighting bums, I do hope he loses. I would love to see Ruiz fight Wilder, I would fancy Ruiz chances

In reply to Post #964 Fast as he can
I expect short fast hands, can’t see how he can keep Ruiz at bay, the jab didn’t work last time
Can’t wait now

In reply to Post #969 Agree, if AJ doesn’t drop some bombs and win the fight in 3 or 4 he’ll probably lose the boxing match beyond that.
